Do you sell firewood in smaller quantities?

We offer prepackaged firewood bundles for campgrounds, retailers, and personal use. However, bulk firewood is only available by the full cord.

What types of firewood do you sell?

We offer:

  • Hardwood Firewood – Oak, maple, birch, poplar (best for home heating)
  • Softwood Firewood – Pine, spruce, fir (ideal for campfires)
  • Mixed Firewood – A blend of hardwoods (no oak)

What is the difference between seasoned and green firewood?

  • Seasoned firewood has been dried for optimal burning efficiency, producing more heat and less smoke. Our Seasoned Oak firewood has been drying for 2 years minimum. Poplar and mixed hardwoods has been drying for 1 season.
  • Green firewood is freshly cut and contains more moisture. It requires drying time before use but is available at a lower price.

How long does green firewood take to season?

Green firewood should be stacked and properly stored for 6-12 months before burning to allow moisture to evaporate.

Do you offer kiln-dried firewood?

No, we specialize in air-seasoned firewood. Our seasoned firewood is naturally dried for an efficient burn.

How should I store my firewood?

To keep firewood dry and ready to burn:

  • Stack it off the ground using pallets or a firewood rack.
  • Cover the top with a tarp or firewood cover, leaving the sides open for airflow.
  • Store it in a well-ventilated area away from direct moisture.

Can I burn green firewood?

Green firewood can be burned, but it produces more smoke and less heat due to higher moisture content. When buring green wood it increases creosote buildup in chimneys, leading to a higher risk of chimney fires and other issues. Seasoned firewood is recommended for efficient burning.

What is the best firewood for home heating?

Hardwood firewood (beech, oak, maple) burns longer and hotter, making it the best choice for wood stoves and fireplaces.

What firewood is best for campfires?

Both softwood and mixed firewood ignite quickly, making them ideal for campfires and outdoor use.

When should I order firewood for winter?

To ensure dry, seasoned firewood, we recommend ordering in the spring or early summer so it has time to dry before the heating season.

Do you offer wholesale firewood?
